What is the AUHF Virtual Conference & AGM

This year’s African Union for Affordable Housing Finance (AUHF) Virtual Conference will be held online and feature 5-days of premium content and networking, as well as an interactive virtual expo. ​​Taking place from 02-06 November 2020, the Conference will provide a high-quality and seamless experience for investors, developers and professionals looking to connect across time zones, share ideas and build towards achieving the SDGs in the post Covid-19 future.

 

This year’s African Union for Housing Finance Virtual Conference will take place under the theme, “Investing in the SDGs: Finding a market opportunity in affordable housing”. ​While housing is explicitly articulated in Target 11 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it is a key component of sustainable development across all of the goals. Good housing drives access to basic services, contributes towards inclusive growth, and supports the development of a sustainable future, with a direct impact on the factors that contribute or mediate the effects of climate change. Investment in affordable housing will therefore have a profound and direct impact on at least 14 of the SDGs.​

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1 Should you be unable to attend the event; a substitute delegate is welcome to attend at no extra cost.

2 API Events has a ZERO REFUND POLICY.

3 API Events reserves the right to alter the programme without prior notice, including the substitution; alterations or cancellation of speakers and/or topics as well as dates of the event.

4 API Events is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration, postponement or cancellation of an event or for any loss whatsoever except where such loss arises as a result of gross negligence on the part of API Summit Events or cancelled as a result of the above.

5 Complimentary tickets are not transferable and are dispensed at the organizer’s discretion. A complimentary ticket cannot be used by a delegate already registered for the event. No refund will be given and the registered person will be held liable for full payment.

6 Registration fees are subject to currency fluctuations and can be fixed at an exchange rate as per at organisers discretion.

7 Payment of full delegate fee is due within 5 days of receipt of invoice, or immediately with registration if the booking is made within 2 weeks of the event. API Events reserves the right to refuse entry to the event should payment not be received prior to the event.

8 All rates need to be paid before the rate expires otherwise you will be subjected to paying the standard rate or late rate.

9 As a registered attendee your names, job title and company name will be displayed on the delegate list which will be provided in the following ways:

 

9.1 Prior to the conference – On the online networking portal for pre-event networking and arranging meetings (If Applicable)

 

9.2 At the conference – delegates will receive the attendees list the day before the conference in order to view who else is at the conference, for the purpose of networking and meetings. Your details will automatically be included on this networking portal for fellow delegates to be in contact with you.
